New to the independent scene is the The New Jersey Short Film Festival & Awards (NJSFFA) created and led by CEO of Diop Productions LLC, Award winning independent filmmaker and author Carona Davis-Diop and her team. There will be multiple categories with prizes, certificates and trophies to award the winners of each category. Categories will include Best Short film, Best Short Film by a Student, Best Actor/Actress, Best Supporting Actor/Actress, Best Cinematography and more.

Anthony Tucker - Founder of SmashFilms, Cinematographer, Editor and Sound Engineer

Janice Kovach - Mayor - Clinton New Jersey, NJ Film and television Commission, Advocate for the Arts.

Carona Davis-Diop - CEO of Diop productions LLC, Multi-Award Winning Indie Filmmaker, Editor-N-Chief of SPLITSCREEN MAGAZINE and Vlog  and author.

Barbara Cannell - Meta-Theatre Co-Founder, Actor, Advocate for human rights and the Arts 

Monique Spicer - Theatre Major/Graduate, Actor, CEO - A La Carte Premier Servers.
